The Lisbon-based artist explores the search for belonging and identity, navigating the complex intersections of culture, home, and self. With every beat, OLAOLAOLA channels the feeling of being caught between worlds—rooted in African rhythms, influenced by European and American musical landscapes, and always seeking a place to call home, much like the third culture kid within her. It is in this safe space that her Portuguese, American and Angolan roots find a way to sing together and language is no barrier.
